I’m having technical issues

When using your Wise account on either the website or in your app, you might run into some issues or technical difficulties. Learn how you can fix some of these issues.

On the website

Here are some common web issues you might run into and how to fix them.

  • Use a different browser — there could be an issue with the browser you're using, so check that you're using one of our supported browsers.

  • Use another computer or different device if it's possible — sometimes the issue might come from the device you're using

  • Turn on incognito or private mode — turning on private mode on your browser can help run the website

  • Clear cache and enable cookies

  • Turn off anti-virus software or ad blockers

  • Use the Wise app instead

If those options don't work, open your console and send it over the console screenshot by contacting us to let us know send over a screenshot via email. We'll investigate and try to fix the issue on our end.


On the app

Here are some common app issues you might run into and how to fix them.

  • Log out and log back into your app Wise account

  • Update your Wise app — updating to the latest version can help run the app more smoothly and include all the new features

  • Try uninstalling and then reinstall your Wise app — reinstalling it can help reboot it. Your information won't be lost

  • Use the Wise website instead with a compatible browser

If those options don't work, just send us a screenshot of the issue so we can investigate on our end. Make sure you let us know the device and app version you're using
