Managing Your Xero Connection with Wise

By integrating Xero with Wise, you can seamlessly import bills and automatically mark them as paid. You can sync bank feeds and transfers or card payment attachments to Xero.

How do I connect my Wise account with Xero?

You don’t need to leave your Wise account to create a new Xero bank account, but you also can start the integration from Xero if you prefer. 

  1. Log in to your Wise Business account

  2. Select your business name in the top corner

  3. Go to Integrations and tools under settings

  4. Choose Apps and Software

  5. Choose View app marketplace

  6. Choose Xero and follow instructions

  7. Choose the currency for balances and jars you want to sync with Xero. Make sure that your Xero account is correctly mapped with the relevant Wise balances. 

  8. Confirm your setup, and your Wise transactions will automatically sync with Xero moving forward.

Note, you can only sync Wise balances to Xero bank accounts in the same currency, and you can only connect one Wise account with one Xero organisation. 

You’ll see some of your Xero currency accounts already appear once your accounts are connected. These are the accounts we think you’d want to sync your Wise balances with. 

If any of those don’t look right, go to Edit, and choose another account or remove it. You also can create new currency accounts in Xero without leaving Wise.

How do I disconnect my Wise account from Xero?

To disconnect your Wise account from Xero:

  1. Log in to your Wise business account on the web.

  2. Go to Integrations and tools under Settings from your profile (top corner).

  3. Select Apps and software.

  4. Click Manage next to Xero

  5. Click Disconnect.

You can also directly go to connection settings to disconnect.
