Connecting your Wise Business account with DATEV allows all of your currency transactions to automatically sync with your accounting software. This saves you time on adding data manually, and helps keep your multi-currency bookkeeping up to date.
The connection is secure with Chift, which ensures reliable and automated data transfers between Wise and DATEV.
Before connecting with DATEV
To connect successfully, your DATEV system needs to have these settings — ask your DATEV Administrator or Accountant to verify them for you:
Licenses
You must have DATEV Rechnungswesen and DATEV Unternehmen Online (DUO). You should also have access to DATEVConnect that is usually already included in DATEV installations.
User Permissions
The connection needs a Windows User linked to a DATEV User. This user must have permission to use DATEVConnect and access your company's accounting data.
Online Connection
Your IT provider must expose the DATEVConnect API URL (HTTPS) so it can be reached securely from the internet.
