Can I set up a beneficiary for my account?

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer the option to set a beneficiary for your account.

If you were to pass, the funds held on your account would be handled per your will or local succession law.

We recommend that you:

  • have a will in place

  • keep your account information up to date – especially your registered address updated to make sure your funds are addressed properly.

This helps make sure your funds are addressed properly, efficiently, and as humanely as possible.

What should my family or executor do?

Your legal next of kin or appointed executor will need to contact us. We’ll ask them for the appropriate legal documents showing they have a right to the funds held — these depend on your region and other factors.

We sincerely hope  that you and your loved ones don’t have to go through our bereavements process anytime soon.
