How to manage your Wise account with Odoo

Connecting your Wise account with Odoo is done via Open Banking, which means Wise shares data about your balance activities with Odoo. Odoo pulls transactions from your Wise currency balances, allowing you to view all connected Wise balances directly in Odoo for easy tracking of transactions.

How to connect your account to Odoo

  1. Log in to the Odoo Accounting app

  2. Select Configuration / Add a Bank Account

  3. Search for Wise and select your preferred bank feed provider (some providers charge a fee for connections)

  4. Confirm the Connection terms and conditions

  5. On the web, log in to your Wise account and select the profile you want to use

  6. Select the Wise balance you want to connect to your Odoo account

The authorisation to share your data with FreeAgent will expire after 90 days. You’ll need to authorise sharing your data again at this point. This is due to regulations set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding 90-day reauthentication rules. For more information, you can visit the Open Banking website.


How to disconnect your account from Odoo

On your Wise account on the web:

  1. Go to Integrations and tools under Settings

  2. Go to Apps and software

  3. Select Disconnect for Odoo
