I need to change my phone number

This article covers how you can change your phone number and what to do if you've changed your phone and can’t log in. 

I've changed my phone number and can’t log in

If you’ve lost access to your old number and can’t access your account, don’t worry — here’s how you can change your number:

  1. Log in with your email and password

  2. In the 2-step verification page choose Try another way

  3. If you can't use any alternative 2-step verification methods, choose I don’t have any of these

  4. Follow the steps to confirm your identity and phone number

  5. Once confirmed, we’ll be able to change your phone number.

I am logged in and need to change my phone number

You can change your phone number on your app or our website. 

Web

  1. Go to your profile name in the top corner

  2. Go to Personal details and select Mobile Number 

  3. Select Change Mobile number

  4. Complete the steps to update your number

  5. After you're done, we’ll send an SMS to your new number to verify it

App

  5. After you're done, we’ll send an SMS to your new number to verify it

The steps can differ, and in some cases we'll need to request more information to verify who you are.

You might need to update your phone number on your account before getting rid of your old SIM, as we might need to send an SMS to your old phone number to confirm it’s really you making the changes.

If you don’t have access to your old SIM, you can use the web or logged out instructions above.
