How to Connect
The steps to connect your Wise account vary based on the accounting software you choose. For the following software, you can set up the connection directly from within your Wise account. Select your software below for a dedicated guide:
Other accounting software
The connection between Wise and other accounting software is established through Open Banking. This means that, with your consent, third-party providers (TPPs) access your financial data and act as intermediaries, enabling a secure connection between your Wise account and the accounting platform.
Log in to your chosen accounting software
Go to the section where you can add or connect a bank account. The exact location varies, check the software’s help centre for detailed steps
When asked to select your bank, search for Wise in the list or search bar
Follow the on-screen prompts to continue with the connection
You'll be redirected to Wise — log in when prompted
Choose the business profile and currencies you want to share
Confirm access to authorise sharing your account activity with the software
The authorisation to share your data with accounting integrations will expire after 90-180 days. You’ll need to reauthorise sharing your data after the expiration due to regulations. For more information about open banking regulations:
UK Customers: visit The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
European Customers: visit Payment Services Directive (PSD2)
Australian Customers: visit Consumer Data Right (CDR)
Other Regions: Some countries have their own open banking regulations. Please refer to the relevant guidelines for your region.
