Meet the new Wise card in Brazil
At Wise, we're always working to offer an increasingly better experience for our users. To do this, we listen to our customers and their needs. With the goal of offering a card with even better global coverage, we launched a new version of our card last year.
This new card features enhanced technology that ensures a more stable experience both in Brazil and abroad - all so you have the best experience when using your Wise card in your daily life or during your travels around the world.
How to request your new card
The new card is available for free in our app. It's simple:
- Access the "Card" tab in your Wise app
- Look for the banner indicating you should request the new card
- Follow the instructions to place your order

Has my current card stopped working?: No, your card continues to work normally. The improvements we've implemented in the new card are for specific situations in countries like Japan and the United States. It's possible that you've never had problems with our card - and it will continue working normally.
Should I request a new card?
Our recommendation is that you request a new card if you:
- Have plans to travel to Japan or the United States
- Have already experienced some type of instability with your current card
If you've never had problems and don't have travel plans to these countries, you can continue confidently with your current card.

Wise continues to offer a truly global card with:
- 40 currencies available
- Coverage in over 160 countries
- Same reliable experience you already know
The new card aims to improve our customers' experience in specific situations. Our "little green card" is evolving, but all versions of our cards - issued in Brazil or elsewhere - continue working regularly.
