'Spend with others', also known as Group Spending or groups, is a way for you to spend with others on your personal Wise Account.
You can do this by sending an invite to another Wise user you want to share your expenses with, such as a family member, friend, partner, roommate, or anyone else.
It's available for personal customers in Australia, the EU, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK.
How does 'Spend with others' work?
'Spend with others' is different from a joint account — it works as a third-party account access.
'Spend with others' has one owner who controls the access and money, with one or more members, while a joint account has two owners who share the account rights equally.
Currently, you can only use 'Spend with others' with someone who lives in the same country or region as you.

Roles and Permissions
'Spend with others' includes two parties — the Owner and the Member.
The Owner sets up 'Spend with others' and has full control over the money in the group, even if the money is added in by a group Member.
A Member joins a group by an invite from the Owner. Members have permissions set by the owner, such as if they can order a digital card.
Both owners and members can spend money and see all transactions in the group.
The Owner legally owns all the money contributed to the group. This means when the Member adds money to the group, they can only spend it from the group — they won't be able to move it to their own Wise account.

Spending limits
Card spending limits apply on an individual basis. This means that card transactions made by the Owner are counted as part of the Owner’s card spending limits, and card transactions made by the Member are counted as part of the Member’s card spending limits.

How are my holding and spending limits calculated if I live in Singapore?
As an Owner:
Amounts in the group balances will be counted as part of the Owner’s Wise account holding limit.
All sending and spending from the group balances will be subject to the Owner’s Wise account yearly sending and spending limit.
As a Member:
If you are adding funds to a group balance via your personal Wise account, this amount counts towards your yearly sending and spending limit.
If you are adding funds to a group balance via an external account (such as your bank account or your bank’s card), this does not count towards your Wise account’s yearly sending and spending limit.

How can I report a fraudulent Wise card payment?
If the Owner or any Member doesn't recognise a transaction, the person who made the transaction must file the dispute.
The Owner is the sole beneficiary of the balances which means that:
Members can't file disputes for transactions made by the Owner or other Members.
Owners can't dispute transactions made by Members as you've given them permission to make purchases with the money in the group.

What if I need to make a complaint?
Both Owners and Members can file complaints.
