How Young Explorer app access works

With Young Explorer, your child can see a limited view of the money you set aside for them through the Wise app.

You’ll need to help them get access by generating a unique QR code within your app and sharing it with them. It’s really important they don’t try to register for the app without your QR code.

Once they have access, they’ll be able to:

• Log in using facial recognition or a passcode — We’ll prompt them to set this up the first time they access the app

• See the money you set aside for them — They won’t get access to any other part of your account

Group permissions

The account owner (parent) will have full control over how the Young Explorer money is managed. Other members in the group (the child, and another adult if you choose to add them), will have limited access.

2. Go to your Young Explorer group

3. Tap Give your child app access

4. We’ll talk you through the next steps

It’s best if you're with your child when you give them access, so they can easily scan the QR code you generate from within your app.
