How to connect your Wise account with QuickBooks
There are two ways to connect your Wise account with Quickbooks and both of them provide different features.
To sync your bank feed, you need to initiate a connection from Quickbooks. For bill reconciliation, initiate the connection from Wise.
Using both features simultaneously requires establishing separate connections for each.

Connecting from Quickbooks
Bank feeds syncing: QuickBooks manages syncing and pulls transactions from your Wise currency balances into QuickBooks Banking Transactions. You can view all connected Wise balances directly in QuickBooks for easy tracking of transactions.
Follow these steps to connect:
Log into your QuickBooks account
Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions
Select Link Account
Search for Wise. You'll see multiple options for different regions. Choose based on your registered business address. Choosing the wrong option may cause an error. If this happens, you’ll need to reconnect and select the correct region based on your business address:
If your Wise business account is registered in the EU, selection Wise (European Union)
If your Wise account is registered in the UK, select Wise (UK)
For all other regions, select Wise (UK)
You'll be redirected to log in to your Wise account
Choose the business account you want to connect to QuickBooksSelect the balances you want to sync
Choose the date you want QuickBooks to pull transactions from
Select Connect
Connecting from Wise
Automatic reconciliation of your bills: When you pay a bill through Wise, it will automatically be marked as paid in QuickBooks, and any fees will be recorded as Bank Charges. You can view all unpaid bills in real time from the Bills page in Wise and pay them directly. This helps keep records accurate and reduces manual reconciliation.
Follow these steps to connect:
Log in to your Wise account
Click on your business name in the top corner
Go to Integrations and tools under settings
Select Apps and Software
Select View app marketplace
Choose Quickbooks and follow the steps to connect
Once you pay a bill on wise, we'll mark that bill in QuickBooks as paid and it will no longer appear as an outstanding bill to pay. Any fees will be added as an Expense in your Bank Charges category.
To Automatically mark bills as paid in QuickBooks, your QuickBooks plan must have the multi-currency feature turned on.
The authorisation to share your data with QuickBooks will expire after 90 days. You’ll need to authorise sharing your data again at this point.
You won't be able to connect your Wise account if your subscription level with QuickBooks doesn't allow this connection.

How to disconnect from Quickbooks
The process to disconnect may vary depending on the features you use and connection you have with quickbooks.
In case if you want to disconnect bank feed sync follow these steps to disconnect:
Click on your business name in the top corner
Under Settings, go to Integrations and tools
Click Apps and software
Click Disconnect next to Quickbooks under data sharing
In case if you want to disconnect the reconciliation of your bills:
Click on your business name in the top corner
Under Settings, go to Integrations and tools
Click Apps and software
Click Manage next to Quickbooks (Under Apps)
Click Disconnect
Important: If you use both features and wish to disconnect from both, you must follow the instructions for one as well as the other.
