How do I add or remove team members?

It’s easy to add or remove people from your business account. As long as you are the account owner or have permission to add or remove team members and change their permissions, you’ll be able to do this by following these steps.

Add someone to your account

Web

  1. Click on your business name in the top-right corner

  2. Select Team members and payment approvals

  3. Select Add team member

  4. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to add

  5. Select the permissions you’d like them to have

  6. If you gave them permission to order their business debit card, you’ll get another step to set their spending limits and other card permissions

  7. If you gave them permission to set up or make payments via transfer, you’ll get another step to set up payment approvals

  8. Review their permissions, card permissions and payment approvals. If everything looks good, select Confirm

We’ll email your new team member an invite to join the account. This invite will be valid for 2 weeks – after that, you’ll need to re-invite them.

App

  1. Tap your initials or profile picture in the top-left corner

  2. Tap on Team members and payment approvals

  3. Select Add

  4. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to add

  5. Select the permissions you’d like them to have

  6. If you gave them permission to order their business debit card, you’ll get another step to set their spending limits and other card permissions

  7. If you gave them permission to set up or make payments via transfer, you’ll get another step to set up payment approvals

  8. Review their permissions, card permissions and payment approvals. If everything looks good, select Confirm

We’ll email your new team member an invite to join the account. This invite will be valid for 2 weeks – after that, you’ll need to re-invite them.

Remove someone from your account

On either web or app:

  1. Go on your business name at the top

  2. Select Team Members and payment approvals

  3. Select the name of the team member you want to remove

  4. Select Remove

  5. Confirm the removal

Remove yourself from a business account

  • Click on your business name in the top-right corner

  • Select Leave this business account

If you're the owner of the Wise business account you'll have to transfer your business account to someone else.

Keep in mind that if you need to update the business details, like users, you need to inform us to avoid problems regarding ID verification.

How to accept the invitation someone has sent you

  1. Go to the invitation email you've received from Wise

  2. Click Accept the invite. After accepting the invitation, you'll be redirected to Wise.

  3. Add your email address and create a password

  4. Fill in your personal details

And that's it! Your Wise account is registered. Go to your notifications to find the pending invitation -after accepting it, you are all set.
