If you sell on multiple Amazon marketplaces, you can withdraw your earnings in different currencies directly into your Wise account. This way, you can avoid high currency conversion fees.
Your Wise account details can be used with Amazon worldwide, but only for local payouts — this means you can link your USD account details to receive payments from Amazon US, or your EUR IBAN to receive payments from Amazon EU. However, you won't be able to connect your account to withdraw other currencies using your GBP or EUR IBAN as Amazon doesn’t make international payouts.
You can receive local currency payments from each marketplace and convert the funds with Wise to get a better exchange rate. No matter where you’re selling, you can manage your payments easily with Wise.
Setting up your account details on Amazon
Go on Settings > Account Info > Payment Info > Bank Account Info
Add or replace your bank details
If you’re replacing existing bank account details, select Replace
If you’re adding new bank account details, select Assign
Select Add new deposit method
Select the bank location. This will be the country under the address of the balance — for example, the GBP account is in the UK, and the USD is in the US
Add your bank account details — these should be your Wise account details
Verify your bank account details. You can use your proof of account ownership document or bank statement to verify your account details
Wait for your documents to get verified. Verification can take up to 4 working days
You're all set! Now you can withdraw your earnings into your Wise account.
Non-US residents using Amazon US marketplace
If you’re not a US resident, Amazon will ask for tax verification. Sign the document stating that you're a non-US citizen and not a taxpayer there. Your payments and new product postings will stay pending until you sign it and send it back to Amazon.
