Requesting a Foreign Inward Remittance Advice (FIRA)

You can request a FIRA by emailing both vostro@hdfcbank.com and indialink.helpdesk@hdfcbank.com — make sure to attach the no objection certificate of the transfer.

If you don't have the certificate, please request it from the sender of your transfer with these instructions.

Are there any costs for obtaining an FIRA from HDFC?

Yes, there is a fee, which depends on how old the transfer is. The fee is:

  • 177 INR if the transfer is less than a year old

  • 354 INR if the transfer is more than a year old
